About Nightingale Direct Care

Nightingale Direct Care is a Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice located in Johnson County, Arkansas, founded and operated by Catherine Stephanie Miranda, APRN, FNP-BC. Our mission is simple: to provide exceptional, unhurried, relationship-based primary care to the individuals and families of our community — without the barriers of traditional insurance-driven medicine.

Direct Primary Care is a modern healthcare model in which patients pay a simple, affordable monthly membership fee in exchange for unlimited access to their provider. There are no copays, no surprise bills, and no waiting weeks for an appointment. Members enjoy same-day or next-day visits, extended appointment times, direct phone and text access to Stephanie, and a genuinely personal approach to their health.

Stephanie has been in primary care since 2017. She earned her RN from Arkansas Tech University in 2012 and continued her education while raising three children and serving 13 years in the United States Air Force Reserve — including three deployments. She holds board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) and has dedicated her career to serving the people of Johnson County.

Beyond general primary care, Nightingale Direct Care specializes in managing complex and often overlooked conditions, including hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), chronic illness, treatment-resistant depression (through Spravato/esketamine treatment), nutrition and wellness, and mental health support. We believe every patient deserves a provider who truly listens.

Outside the clinic, Stephanie coaches youth volleyball, teaches Sunday School at Knoxville First Baptist Church, and tends to her garden. Her community roots run deep, and that shows in the care she provides every single day.
